Spotlight! Fanfare: A New Beginning

Referral Discount - Help Us Spread the Word!
First, we’d like to thank all of our clients for their support and universally kind words about our service. We’re very proud and happy to have performed your music.
We’d also like to thank many of our clients for referring their composing friends to our service: Word-of-mouth has been our best advertising!
Because of that, Ravel Virtual Studios now offers a Referral Discount to reward those who take the time to recommend our services to other composers. This discount is available to everyone who has an account with our client website.
For each new composer you refer to us, who then proceeds to complete a paid project with us, you’ll receive a “coupon” for a 10% discount on a future project!
To get your referral discounts, first make sure you’ve signed up for an account on our clients website: clients.ravel-vs.com — it’s free and takes only a few moments to do.
Then, when the person you’ve referred starts their first project with us, have them mention your name and clients.ravel-vs.com account name to us. You also must contact us with the name and clients.ravel-vs.com account name of the referree. We’ll contact you with your 10% referral discount coupon once the “referree” completes their first project with us.
When you redeem your referral discounts, multiple coupons can be combined on a project, and they can be combined with academic discounts, up to a maximum of 30% discounted off a project at a time.
There’s no limit to the number of referrals you can make—for example, if you refer five different people to us, you’ll get five referral discount coupons! Spread the word!

Rules and Regulations
1. ELIGBILITY OF REFERRERS: A “referrer” is a person who holds a clients.ravel-vs.com account and agrees to our general Terms of Service. Referrers do not need to have completed a paid project with Ravel Virtual Studios.
2. ELIGIBILITY OF REFERREES: A “referree” is a person who holds a clients.ravel-vs.com account and agrees to our general Terms of Service, but has not completed and paid for a project with Ravel Virtual Studios. Once a person has completed and paid for a project with Ravel Virtual Studios, they are not considered eligible as a referree.
2a. A referree cannot be the same person as the referrer. That is, you may not refer yourself in order to obtain the referral discount.
3. NUMBER OF DISCOUNTS PER REFERRAL: One referree may only count towards one referral discount coupon. That is, a person can only be referred to Ravel Virtual Studios once.
3a. In the case of multiple referrers to the same referree, only one referrer will get the discount. The referrers and the referree should decide between themselves who will be the recipient of the discount; Ravel Virtual Studios will not make this decision.
3b. Referrers only receive a single referral discount coupon for the first project the referree completes with Ravel Virtual Studios; additional projects completed by the same referree do NOT result in referral discounts.
4. DEFINITION OF A PERSON: A “person” is defined as a real, physical person. Even if a person creates multiple accounts, referring each of these separate accounts does not qualify as a new, distinct referral. This policy will be strictly enforced to prevent abuse of the referral system!
For example if Alice creates two different accounts on clients.ravel-vs.com, Alice1 and Alice2, Bob may only receive credit for only one referral even if both the Alice1 and Alice2 accounts complete a project with us and both mentioned that Bob was the referrer.
In the case of abuse, Ravel Virtual Studios retains the right, at its sole discretion, to disallow the redemption of existing referral discounts and the future acquisition of referral discounts. In serious cases, Ravel Virtual Studios retains the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse to do business with the offending parties.
5. NUMBER OF TOTAL DISCOUNTS: There is no limit to the number of distinct legitimate referrals you may make. For example, if you refer five different people to us (who proceed to complete a paid project with us), you will receive five referral discount coupons.
6. REFERRAL PROCESS: A referree only counts towards the referral discount if they proceed to complete a paid project with us. In order for referrers to receive credit for the referral, the referree must mention the referrer's personal name and clients.ravel-vs.com account name to Ravel Virtual Studios when the referree starts their project. Additionally, the referrer must contact Ravel Virtual Studios with the personal name and clients.ravel-vs.com account name of the referree, before the referree completes and pays for their project.
7. RETROACTIVE REFERRALS: There will be no retroactive referrals, i.e. after a person has paid for their first project with us, they cannot mention that they were referred to us by another person. Note to referrers: Please make sure your referree mentions your name as the referrer before they pay for their first project.
8. REFERRAL DISCOUNT AMOUNT: For a single legitimate referral, a one-time-use discount of 10% will be awarded. This discount is also known as the referral discount coupon.
9. EXPIRATION OF REFERRAL DISCOUNTS: Referral discounts are good for 12 months from the date of referral. The date of referral is considered to be the day the referree has paid for their first project.
10. REDEMPTION OF REFERRAL DISCOUNTS: Ravel Virtual Studios keeps a record of the number of referral discounts available for accounts. To redeem a referral discount, simply mention the intent before payment, and Ravel Virtual Studios will apply valid discounts to the requested invoice. To inquire on the status of referral discounts, please contact Ravel Virtual Studios.
11. COMBINING REFERRAL AND ACADEMIC DISCOUNTS: You may combine referral discounts and academic discounts together on a project. The discount amounts are first added together, and then the total discount amount is applied to the original price. If applicable, taxes are then calculated based on the final discounted price.
The maximum limit of total discounts is 30% on a project. Unless otherwise stated, no other discounts can be combined with referral or academic discounts.
12. INDIVISIBILITY OF DISCOUNTS: Referral discounts (and all others unless otherwise stated) cannot be split into multiple smaller discounts. For example, a single referral discount coupon of 10% cannot be split into two 5% discounts. In the case of combining discounts, any amount of discount over the 30% maximum limit is dismissed and cannot be saved for the future.
13. TRANSFERABILITY OF DISCOUNTS: Referral discounts cannot be transferred between user accounts. Referral discounts are tied to the account that was mentioned by the referree.
14. Ravel Virtual Studios retains the right to allow, disallow, award or revoke discounts, at its sole discretion. Ravel Virtual Studios retains the right to change or amend the details of the Referral Discount at any time.
