Audio Files

By default, we record your performance to the common WAV electronic audio format. WAV is a “lossless” audio file format, resulting in the best possible quality and large file sizes.

We can also record your performance to many other formats, such as AIFF and MP3. AIFF is a lossless file format like WAV, and is more common on Apple Macintosh systems. MP3 is a “lossy” audio file format, resulting in good quality recordings and much smaller file sizes. If you have any special requests, please contact us.

The recordings of your piece are available for download in the “Files” section of your project. If you’d like, we can also burn your piece to CD and ship it to you.
